I made a new video of SL, this time in the sim of Privateer Space. The sim of Privateer Space is a space themed sim with 4 planets at the bottom then each 256M above that is a seperate “layer” which is a seperate space themed area. There are space stations, nebulas and plenty of places to explore in Privateer Space

I haven’t updated this blog in a while, I have been too busy with staring a real life business in the area of web hosting as well as several other things.
The name of my web hosting business is Small Space Hosting. Small Space Hosting’s target marke is regional small business in Australia altholugh as an experiment I have offered a web hosting service that can be paid for useing the currency of the Second Life vurtual world as an experiment to see if there is any demand for such a service.
Linden Labs have just anounced a price drop for all new private estate sims aka Islands. The price was originally US$1675 but the price is now US$1000. The price change seems to have hurt a lot of people who have either recently brought an island and or own several islands already. Altnough I am to benifit from it as I sell terrains for private islands and I am contemplateing releaseing a terrain that covers 4 islands.
Another thing mentioned is the enourmous amount of 16SQM adlots that have been abandoned due to the recent rule chage regarding obnoxious 16SQM adlots and all I can say is good riddence to the bottom feeding scum suckers that are or atleast were adfarmers

Well I have made the video of the Second Life sim Kitsune Forest now. It took me a few goes to get the right codec to record. I used Windows Movie Maker to put it together and posted it on Youtube but the quality of the youtube version is not that good compared to the original.
Well Second Life is completly down, I had hoped to get some filming done of SL but the sim that I wanted to record was down for much of the day. I was hopeing to make a video tour of the sim Kitsune Forrest which is one of my current favorite hangouts in Second Life, the landscapeing there is beautiful.
While checking my SL account I happened to notice the following image on the Second life website and it was quite funny.
I have spent the last week on holidays in the city of Sydney for easter. I fogot to take my camera with me so I missed out on some good photos from the Blue Mountains includeing a recent landslide visable from a back road I traveled on east of Lithgow.
I have discovered how to make cliffs useing Terragen. To make a cliff in Terragen you must export the heightmap to an image editing application to edit before importing the heightmap back into Terragen. I am considering makeing a video tutorial on the topic.
On another topic I have started a small web hosting business that targets Australian small business offering them web hosting at US prices with Australian support hours. I have plenty of work to do before I am able to offer any plans. I probably will post more info at a later date
I have decided to get my self a youtube account to upload videos taken during my travels through Second Life and of my terragen stuff. I had to use my old online name of gavo2o on Youtube as antlion was unfortunatly taken already and I didn’t want to add a long intiger to the end of my name.

Well I decided to take some images of some of my stuff in Second Life.
I am building a spaceship in my home sim of Kitsune Valley. The ship is a 2 deck ship with a total of three compartments.
That is an exterior view of the ship as I have not completed the insides of it yet
Now time for my mountain village on Second Life. I have a range of cabins that I rent out fr L$199 per week and I have put a lot of time, effort and money makeing the area and I hope that everyone who visits enjoys it.
